Wow. I am sorry that happened to you. We have only been there once and it is our favorite restaurant. Second only to Ironwood in Pinehurst NC. Other guests that are rude can ruin your experience. Maybe try it again at a different time of day or different day? Hungry people can get nasty. I wish you a better experience.
John I go to the Peddlin Pig in Banner Elk at least once a month and have never had that experience. The food as always been spot on and the staff always available. The patron there have never been a problem for me but, Boone and Banner Elk very different town. I hope you give it a try again I love supporting our community and local businesses.
The Banner Elk restaurant was not good. It was mainly bc the wait time was extremely long and once we were seated it took forever to get our food. We arrived at 6 pm and it is now 8:32 pm and she finally brought our change. The waitress refilled the tea one time and that was after she brought the check. Never checked on us otherwise. Not only that but she wasn’t wearing her mask properly and her nose was running and was visible then she wiped it with her hand. We were extremely disappointed and will not be back.
