The food was good, the service was good, nothing overly outstanding about this barbecue. It was a good value especially considering the location. I did miss having a hot sauce to put on the barbecue and as their spicy was mild to say the least. The pork skins were remarkable with the dry rub seasoning.

Used to love this place. Potion sizes are way down for what it's worth now. Used to get a whole tray of meat and separate containers for sides. I understand inflation but it's just not worth it anymore. $36 for this.

Good food but it definitely seemed to be dependent on what you order. My daughter got wings (I helped) and they were really good. I had a brisket sandwich and it was also excellent (very tender, little fat) with the hash brown casserole. I recommend both. My wife had smoked turkey which was very good and a generous portion (three huge slices). She said the collards didn't taste like collards and the mac and cheese was just okay. Our friend got ribs and they were dry rub (they have sauce available but didn't come on the ribs) and seemed pretty small. Kids portions are good size and the service was FAST (granted we were there right at 5pm on a Friday). Would consider going back next time in town but not necessarily a must-have.

We decided to choose The Pedalin’ Pig for take out as a late lunch/early dinner. We ordered our food and waited the 30 mins, all was well. We asked for some buns to go with our pork but they said they were running low on supply and to go orders don’t get them. So, we got our food and checked everything in the car and we saw that the “sides” we got that were supposed to feed at least 3 people each was a toddler serving size so we had to go to the store and buy mac and cheese so we had enough. They also just threw our sauces into our bag without thinking about the fact they would spill AND they didn’t even label which sauce was which so we had to guess and ended up just buying a bottle from the store. The pulled pork was okay and the brisket was good but it was VERY overpriced for what we got and we had high hopes for this place, but we definitely will not be back.

Wow. I am sorry that happened to you. We have only been there once and it is our favorite restaurant. Second only to Ironwood in Pinehurst NC. Other guests that are rude can ruin your experience. Maybe try it again at a different time of day or different day? Hungry people can get nasty. I wish you a better experience.
The tables are social distanced. Masks are required inside and may be removed once seated.
They have a few appetizers, a garden burger, salad, all of their sauces and several sides that are all gluten free.
Worst BBQ I've had. Pulled pork was dry with hard black spots. Service was slow and terrible. I complained about it and nothing was said. On my no stop list.
Amanda B , the food was so nasty it made my family sick, the restroom was nasty. I could not use it , the women's restroom had dead bugs in it , they do not clean the bathroom I would not recommend to eat there I had to go somewhere else to use the restroom , we got home started to throwing up , it's really sicking
I'm a customer. Not an owner. I personally don't mind this new policy. Seems like this is properly allocating costs. A cash customer pays $10 and merchant gets the $10. A charge card customer pays $10 and the merchant pays your charge card company their percentage (up to 5%) and merchant then gets, say, $9.50. Many retailers will give a discount for customers paying with cash or a check, this is normally just done with big ticket items.
