Hi, I’m thinkin of going on a last minute trip Nov. 9th through the 11th will the camp still be open? What are my chances of getting a spot? Should I try to get there on Thursday to secure a spot?

Yes the campsites will be open and they will be closed on November 15th according to the park ranger I spoke with this weekend. And it is advisable to go early preferably Thursday early morning or evening to secure the spot for the weekend because it gets extremely busy and hard to find spots.

Yes cass caceres is right but if dont mind some cold nights just bring an extra pair of socks and you are on..... hike safe beware cliffs and sliding down rocks.... I believe they close the weekend before Thanksgiving. We camped there last year on Nov 10-11-12 (Fri to Sun) and only 4 or 5 spots were taken, so you should be fine.

Hello, as long as there's no snow yet it should be open. If it's open you should be fine finding a spot, people usually avoid camping does dates because of the cold weather.
