One of my favorite places to go to on the weekend and most the time other campers go there to, along with beautiful views.

Beautiful scenery and great place to camp! If you hike in from the bottom be prepared for some steep terrain. Well worth it, I just packed a little bit heavy which I will not do next time. Either way amazing place and will definitely be going back again.

The perfect little campground. The 16 sites located here allow you to know where several of your neighbors are without them breathing down your neck. Each site is complete with a metal bear-box for keeping your food safe from bears and other predators. Plenty of wonderful hikes to experience from here if you make this your base camp! Bring a trowel if you’re staying at Little Jimmy, as the bathrooms on site are either boarded up or home to quite a mess of bugs and other animals.

My favorite campground in the Angeles National Forest. Easy hike in, a little over 2 miles, and the spring is almost always running. You don't even need to filter the water. It can be a popular spot so he developed campsites may fill up quickly, but there are plenty of places to put up a tent all around. Hike up to Mt Islip and enjoy the views on a clear day. If the PCT hikers are coming through, it will be very crowded though.

The weekends are mostly full unless you get lucky and get there very early. They do fill up really quickly.
May 19 4 inches fell last night
Thank you for the information, that's very helpful
bears, snakes but the campground has bear lockers for you to store your food and backpack. Its an easy hike, you can leave your things in the campground and do a couple of amall hikes. There is a fresh water spring where you can fill up your bodle so don't bother carrying too much water.
Campsites are first come, first serve. You will need to hike in from the trailhead to claim one for your stay.
Sorry bud....I lyke tuh fish too! There is not fishing near Little Jimmy.
It varies I am assuming as to which carrier you have I have AT&T my service comes in and out but I do receive calls when I hike there or when I backpacked there I know a lot of people that I've spoke to that hike there had T-Mobile and had no service where are Verizon and AT&T had more service so I guess it varies
I didn't see any. We hung our food in a tree.
There are bears there have not seen one as of yet and there is no need to hang your food in a bear container any longer they now have bear containers in the campground just got put in recently👌
Filtering water is always the smarter thing to do but I've never filtered it and nothing yet. Most people I see there don't filter it
