bears, snakes but the campground has bear lockers for you to store your food and backpack. Its an easy hike, you can leave your things in the campground and do a couple of amall hikes. There is a fresh water spring where you can fill up your bodle so don't bother carrying too much water.
Was up there Thursday. Poison Oak (or at least something that looks like it) was near the spring. Bears can show up. Didnt see any snakes but wouldn't be surprised if they are there.
I just can't there a couple weeks ago the hike up there is mostly uphill, there are some narrow parts of the trail along the mountain sides which can b potentially dangerous however the actual campsite itself is pretty harmless it's big n comfortable but it has no bathrooms and no trash cans
