Heading up Hwy 39, off the 210 Fwy. Drive thru downtown Azusa head north. Continue past the East Fork bridge and Westfork picnic areas. You will see Coldbrook CG on your left. You will need parking pass to enter. Head pass the major camp areas untill you almost reach the exit. Park nearby for the cool streams .

I loved this camp ground. There is a volunteer forest dept dude there and he's super nice. There can be bears here but I haven't had any trouble with them. Very peaceful and pretty at night. The creek is just lovely. 10/10 Have gone a few times. :3

This was one of the best campgrounds I've been to. I was hesitant since they don't do reservations but we took a chance and got the only open site when we arrived late at night. Despite what the official website states, this campground DOES have piped water, but only in the form of a spigot at each camp site, which was a nice surprise. So no running water in restroom. Site 18 was right up against the brook. Several hikes within a short driving distance. Will definitely stay at this campground again.

The host is so friendly and helpful. Sites here are about 20. Restrooms and pipe water is available. Couldn’t give it 5 stars because it’s nearby the main route which people racing at night, and it’s definitely pretty noisy for you if you are looking for a quiet campground.

There are bears and poison ivy, but bears are only scavenging for food from trash bins at night, and poison ivy is not everywhere, but it can be found alongside trails.
