Yeah, its difficult to find fishing. I'd say the closest would be at the San Gabriel reservoir?
No fish at campground, it's a small stream of water. Crystal lake used to have fish but the water level is very low and I'm not sure if they stock any fish there anymore.
Yeah I don't think they stock the creek and it would have to be during high-water season that you might catch a fish or two in the campground
