Drove up to check it out. Signs says stop at office but they're not in there. Drove thru but saw no tent camping. On the way out stopped at the office again, greeted(if you could call it that) by an extremely rude man. Asked him about tent camping and was told they're full and he tried to shut the door on me before I could even answer. If you don't like you're job quit, don't take it out on the potential customer. You couldn't pay me to go back

Location 5/5 Wilderness 2/5 Lot size 3/5 Quite time 1/5 Shower 3/5 Service 4/5 Water/Power Yes-Hot/Yes Location is great. It took only about an hour from the OC. Site located next to the Lytle Creek so you can walk to enjoy the water and also Bonita Fall for less than an hour hiking. Water looks clean and cold, but I saw several abandoned concrete pipes here and there. The landscape was not impressive because of visible high voltage cables and steel frame structures, but you can feel some isolation on the way going to the Fall. Hot water was available and pressure was enough. Two power connectors, one for 220v, the other for 110v, for each lots. One complaint was the noise during/over the night. The site was super loud until 1am, but not controlled by anyone. It was not just talking and giggling. They had night night club level sound system with DJs. It was cultural shock because no one complaint to them, but they seemed enjoying the music together. A few hour later, the other continued the noise by playing their music. They seemed to compete each other to prove who has better speaker system. Service was great and very responsive, but they seems not want to bother any visitor. If you want your own concert for day and night, this place is yours.

This was my first time here and I really enjoyed it. Stayed for 2 nights. Reserved online then paid the balance when I arrived. The space I had selected was kinda small for my 36ft motorhome so the manager selected a different space for me and even helped guide me into parking it. It was quite and peaceful and right next to the Lytle Creek river/wash area which was great for hiking and exploring in. Water and electrical connections 30 amp so I could run one air conditioner at a time plus the fridge and satellite tv. Ground squirrels were fun to watch but they are very smart. I left a can of peanuts with the plastic lid on the picnic table and they were able to jump up and actually opened the lid and got into them! Overall I had a great time! Thanks to the manager for everything!

We absolutely love it here. The campsite personnel is very respectful. There's restrooms, showers, electricity, water and a septic dump site. Cleaned Daily. Very highly recommend this campsite.

Yes we loved tent camping and hiking there
They do on a weekly and monthly basis. Weekly runs about $270 but monthly is only $725 IF they have a spot available. Includes electricity, on-site waste dump area and refuse service by way of shared dumpster much like you'd find at an apartment complex.
It's like a like a mile and a half round trip, yes there is water in the fall.
Sometimes you cannot enter the website because it is due.
Tent camping -$25 per night for 2 people $2.00 more for each additional person with maximum of 6 people per site Rv/Trailer camping - $30 per night and same as above for additional people all sites have water & electricity and there are 2 dump stations
Yes you can...
Some sites are for campers only but they're marked on their website. Most are open to tent campers though. We tent camped recently and loved it there. Have fun!
you aren’t able to swim is just a Creek where the water can reach your ankles or between your knees in some areas. water is a little cold enough to cool down and relax very nice area 👌🏼 Don’t forget good shoes to hike, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, water and snacks.
The only cellphone service that works up here is Verizon you can use the office phone to make a quick call or emergency call
Yes they have long term spaces. I don't know about waiting lists there might be a space or two open but im not sure. I think I pay $710 a month.
You can walk through the Bonita Ranch Campground to access Bonita Falls but the campground does charge a fee for parking. $10-$20 I think.

Only can book 6 days at a time on the site but Joe is really friendly and may do it all at once.
I think they only have water and electric, they have 2 dump stations on site
Hello please sorry for latte answer. I made my reservation on-line and the day we were in bonita ranch wasn't fire. I don't think so they respond your phone call but can you check on-line the info about water conditions and restrictions...
There's trees everywhere. The shade will depend on where the sun is
We drove in. Found site host. Needed a tent site everywhere was full. 15 min later we had a site with portable fire pit delivered for $5 with wood $3 and had showers. Very clean. Quiet. Great 25 min hike to a beautiful waterfall. Loved it! Not too much for my PAD or dads arthritus knees or our 10 yr old. Nice trip
No restrictions at the moment unless winds start up then you will be asked to put the fire out. Propane fire pits are good year round. All fires must be up off the ground and in a contained fire pit.
Yes there is.
Children are additional, but they aren't too strict about it. You'll be fine.
Free, might just wanna bring shower shoes. And t.p
Horrible. Only verizon company works up there.
If you talk with the manager i think will say yes..
Regular hose is fine
Make sure the site isn't labeled as for campers only. There are a few that don't allow tents there.
Yes they do. Plenty of people have them there.
Its open and you can have a camper or just a tent
Yes
Hi if you have a reservation to camp our check-in time is at 1 pm so that means you can check in any time from 1 pm -1 am. if needed. if you are coming to hike Bonita Falls and pay $5.00 to park in our campground we are open from 7 am - 10 pm and if someone is not in the office there is a drop slot by the office door where you can put the $5.00 for the hike and then you go to the left and go straight back and park next to the tan storage container park to the right of the storage container and that will be the start of the trail going to the waterfall you go along the fence line until it ends then crossover to the mountain then go up its about a 40 min hike
No golf carts are allowed on our campground without permission from the manager or owner of the campground
Yes the dog are allowed but I don't know if you need pay.
I dont kniw I typed it in and went to the button that says website
It's like 2 miles back and forth
The river is about 10 feet where you park. The waterfall is about 40 minutes away on foot
No wood fires allowed right now. No fire pits but you can rent one here and use charcoal. The office should be opened so not sure why no one is answering. There are some empty spots if you want to just come up.
6 people maximum per site. The price includes 2 people any person after the 2 is $2 more per person
Yes up the road at Mountain Lakes
I have a travel trailer 26.5 ft in length and have plenty of extra space no matter what site I'm in, good spacious sites if you don't mind not being In The full hookups area. The full hookups area has some pretty good sized sites as well , there's some big motorhomes and with wheels there.
Call or email
