My Son and I had a great time Memorial day weekend. It was not full, Great Range Masters, had a good father and Son day. Met a lot of great people. I will be back.

I came here years ago. Never will come back in my life. Range master was on top of me he didnt even let me put anything on the table so my gun wouldn't scratch.when i was picking up my shells he came over and said we have a problem with people leaving shells so clean up. Umm okay.then i went over to the shotgun section and a crazy white lady came out of a trailer yelling me at saying i was too loud.....lady do you know where your at?!?!? Just a horrible experience. Pay money just to have your gun scratched and yelled at for being too loud here. Thats my experience of this place.

Great place. Staff is cool as hell. Anyone in LA county should come here I think you'll know why. Drive up there is amazing. You want an "off the grid" vibe this place is definitely it. Either alone time , best friend , partner or family.

Family friendly and safe. The range safety officers are amazing.. they are friendly and very helpful to everyone. Their knowledge of firearms is fantastic. They are happy to work with you and make you feel comfortable. They have courses available to increase your knowledge.

Yes, they have a seperate section for shotguns so you can throw clay pigeons or just target shoot. They also sell clay pigeons but brong cash they cannot accept credit.
They have rifle steel at the 100 and 200/300 lines. There isn't a lot of it. Basically just tapered swingers that narrow down to a "v" - if you shoot higher on the steel, it's wider and easier. They do let you being your own steel but you have to let the range office check it. IIRC the steel has to be a minimum of 18" off of the ground.
I brought my daughter when she was 9. I don't remember if there was a discount for her.
I wouldn't. Robert the range officer has over 20 yrs experience building ar 15 and ar 10 rifles. He is fully aware of liberal California firearm laws. He will probably have you keep it in your vehicle.
Yep. Just no green tip. Or bimetal bullets
I was there a month ago and I didn't see one but I did take a crosmen .177 pump I felt a little weird but it was cool
Very friendly place.
No they did not rent guns
Technically you can but regular eye glasses can shatter. You may want to get clear shatter resistant safety glasses meant for people with glasses. While eye glasses may lrotect against things like dust. They can and often do crack and shatter upon impact.
Yea lol thats all I I ever shoot here!
Apple slice only
I don't see why not, there was a youngster shooting one the other day. Just follow all the rules and instructions from range staff.
Yes
Yes. I did
They have targets there for i believe 6 dollars
Anything that is sold to you by California is okay
Armour Piercing & Tracer Ammo is not allowed. Ricochet Fire Danger.
I wouldn't take any p80 or any 80% lowers since the range officers tend to get picky about what one has
Yes as long as it's California compliant.
No.
Lytle Creek does have an archery range, or at least it did last time I was there, 4 years ago. It is to the right of the shotgun range.
As long as its not an NFA item or over .50bmg you should be fine. Air rifles are allowed but you may need to ask if its a .50 cal.
Shotgun section is for dhotguns only. They sell clay targets there buy you must bring your own launch. About 15 bucks per shooter plus 8 buck for pre fab target. No steel ammo due to fire hazard.
Tracers are not allowed. FMJ are always okay but you have to ask to shoot steel core everytime you come for fire risks.
Late December and January
You can bring your own, or you can buy them there. They're not expensive, and lots of fun!
