Can i register my car if i only have the title? Do i need to take it to the dmv? Knowing that i dont have a tag. How can i do this? I dont want to drive the car without a tag.

All you need is identification, Insurance, and the title. If you bought from an individual, and live here, you can may not get a temporary tag.

Go to DMV get a temporary tag take all papers for the car.
