Crazy crowded with up to a 2hr wait Fortunately we only had to return a tag and they took care of it at the walk in to get a ticket line. We were very lucky with that. The lady was awesome and knew what she was doing 🙏🏻 Originally tried to call and get an appointment, automated message said push something and make one but never allowed you that option and no human to speak with.

Before going inside there is someone helping you answering any questions when you get inside the processors are very simple in no time you finished but you most have appointment I guess some day they don't take walk-ins.

Motor vehicles isn’t the same anymore and very unorganized! This facility unfortunately takes appointments ONLY and I made an appointment last week for them to tell me they don’t have it. So now I have to wait an hour and half just to renew my license. This place isn’t like the others well organized and doesn’t look presentable. Consumer beware 🫠😓

Quiet! It's Polk County... Everyone's been arrested. They're on rotation to keep some businesses open. I hear they serve there time or community service on a bi-weekly rotation schedule now. It's been made into a law now to keep businesses open and prevent overcrowding. DCF is hiring part time help with no experience it says.. But hasn't it always been like that? Just Saying!

Sadly you cant authorize your brother to pick up your driver License, you can try to renew trough the website on line so they will mail the license to you.

Yes. Right now it's by appointment only. It's fairly well organized. I was there less than 30 minutes. You must wear a mask and agree to have your temperature checked when you go in. Good luck!!

Getting an appt online is better. But, no, you don't have to..! Once you get there, they will then give you an appt... And it may be same day, hours later.. Etc. Depending on the wait list of the category you are in for. Good luck.
You need to go to the DMV by Bush Gardens and 30th st. The one on Hillsborough only does licenses and you need an appointment even for the one on 30th st

So many ask the same question. Glad i'm not the only one. Someone told me, "Just go to the web site." I said that website is not user friendly. They said WHAT? Now I know i'm old but user friendly means it's easy. That web site is not intuitive. Like I can't even get the phone number from the sight.
