We recently lost our 11 year old cat to kidney failure and have begun the process of looking for some new animal companions for our family. La Crescent Animal Rescue was the first place we went. They have many kittens to choose from and are very friendly and professional and entirely volunteer. I would recommend going through the process of adoption with them if you are serious about being a cat owner.

I've not been there yet, but it looks GREAT. As I am looking for a new wonderful dog, I will get there as soon as I can. From the look of the rescue and the dogs they showed, I am hoping to come home with one of them!

This animal rescue is truly a great place because they focus on more than sheltering; they provide medical assistance to animals in need. I have not adopted from here (yet), but I would volunteer regularly (before covid), and my boyfriend fostered some cats. The people here have been wonderful with me and patient, and they always bend over backwards to make appointments work. It is a place that genuinely loves animals, and seeks out the best home for them.

Modern and clean. That makes me feel great about donating. Only 4 starts because from what I understand, but am not for sure, and their policy could have changed, but....I've been told it is a kill shelter. Makes me cry thinking about critters not having a home. Please find room for one! You need a pet just as much as these critters need a home. Trust me!!!

Small triained house dog
Yes I have a nine-year-oldJack Russell and we are in a very desperate situation we had to remove my father from the home last week we went to check on him and we found him and conditions that were horrible and the dogs been there with his ex cuz she lives there too and she's not even letting the dog out and the landlord's going to be coming on Sunday or Monday and I have got to get that dog out of the house
You can also check their website for that information or Facebook
They are no kill
I believe there is only a Manchester Terrier named Charlie right now, but I would recommend calling La Cresent animal shelter to be certain.
If you are planning to adopt! I believe most of the dogs are in foster care, not at the shelter. Always welcome to come learn to help as a volunteer!
