Hello. My family rescued a baby squirrel that had been abandoned about 5 years ago. He’s become a family pet and very loved. He is acting sick and we’re not quite sure where to take him. We don’t want him confiscated. Thanks

Wildlife care works under permit from Fish and Game. Any native wildlife must be released and if not able to be released can be euthanized unless they get permission to use such animal as an educational animal. Be careful.
