According to the SB National Forest site: https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/sbnf/recarea/?recid=34152 The Deep Creek hot springs have 97% fatal brain eating amoeba which enters through the nose... so definitely do not submerge your head on hot springs!

Absolutely safe for those that have done it(dive) before' however with respect to 90%of everyone else can be dangerous due to remoteness & hidden rocks to bang ones head on. Be careful!!! Air lifts suck &are expensive😉😎

Only in certain areas. Most of them no. Please use your better judgement and look before you leap. Also not headfirst

Definetly plenty of places to swim but I'd hold off on diving/jumping in especially at the main hotsprings area

Safe to get wet and swim ... deep but not deep enough to dive they're rocks in the bottom too

Rain Barclift | Aug 26, 2018

Safe to get wet/not dive unless you know what you are doing.

In places it can be safe but you always need to look for rocks and check depth before diving!
