I was at the park today (November 12) with my grandkids. We were wondering what you do with the black during the winter months. I know they go into hibernation in the wild. Where do they go in captivity?

Bears don't hibernate all winter. They will go out in search of food if they get hungry. They do sleep a lot more during the winter months to help them conserve their body heat.

Hey Richard! I think you mean the black bears. From what i understand the oark just closes to the public in the winter. So the bears can still hibernate in their habitat at the park.
