I loved this little zoo! Very cute animals that appear well taken care of with enough room to roam. The cafe is closed so bring food. It’s located on a huge park as well with lots of grass, restrooms and play structures. The kids loved the zoo and it was quiet, not a lot of people.

I was impressed with this zoo for being in a small town like Lodi, there was enough to see. Very clean and friendly staff. No concessions, so bring a picnic and enjoy the park as well.

Very small but cute, thank you for helping all those amazing animals. I love animals and you widened my horizonts, it was a first time I encounter Fossa. Thank you 🌹💖

Micke grove park is HUGE and very very nice. Great place to take your kids to visit the zoo and to walk around and perfect place to bbq for small or huge parties. Plenty of places to chose from. Five star

Adult admission is $5 per person
It is a Zoo not a farm. If I’d want to pet goats and ponies I’d go to a farm tbh.
Yes. Micke Grove Park and Zoo are open everyday of the year except for Christmas. Park opens at 8; Zoo opens at 10 and the rides open at 11. Please bring your own food as the snackbar is closed.
5 dollars per adult ,3 dollars for kids 3-13, free 2 and under
Went last week and there was no petting zoo. The zoo is open but everything else is not.
It would be a nice edition to the park but I don't believe they do movies at the park.
Each individual picnic area has its own BBQ grill. All you have to do is bring the briquets & starter for the briquets.
You can only have a taco truck/taquiza in the Park if you reserve a covered picnic area.
Yes there are other animals and birds other than monkeys. A small play area for kids too.
According to their website that snack bar and gift shop are closed until further notice.
Yes they will be open on 9/30/21
most of the picnic areas are very close to parking areas.
I'm not sure if that is available at this time. I would call the office before I head over there.
They take card for sure at the Zoo but I'm not 100% sure about the entrance to the park. The entrance may be cash only.
Yes, it is $5 for adults, $3 for children (ages 3-13), and children under 2 years old are free.
I belive it is both. 5 for cards and 5 for adults. kids ages 3-13 are 3 dollars each.
No
The Zoo is now back open to the public. We are open Wednesdays through Sundays from 10AM to 4PM.
The rides are currently closed due to COVID. The Zoo will be opening back up on Monday, Oct. 26th at 10AM.
As of the present, there is some kind of cage there with some kind of birds it's very sad because that is where the seals were. It was an awesome place to go hang out and lean over the rails to watch the seals. This whole zoo is a shadow of itself back in the eighties and nineties, it is nothing like it was very sad To say the least.
They don't have food inside the zoo only two vending machines that I know of in zoo. 1.50$ each one drinks one snacks
I work for solo cups and the only animals my company have are of the corporate variety
6$ for parking
Unfortunately they do not take any turtles if it's a red ear sliding turtle just set it safely back in a slow river where they thrive
5 adults (ages 14 and up); $3 for children (ages 3-13) and free for children 2 years and under.
In Micke Grove Park itself, yes. In the zoo, in the Japanese Gardens, and in other fenced areas, no.
Funderwoods is still there. Maybe open only on weekends. We were there last Wednesday and it was not operating.
M-Sunday 8am to 7pm
No, Micke Grove Zoo does not have a pool. However, there is a splash pad for the kids located at the front of Micke Grove Park near the Camanche picnic area.
The reservable picnic areas vary in price depending on how many people you plan on having at your function. Please call the Parks Office at (209) 953-8800 Option #1 for further information.
I went about a month ago and it was closed
No rides at micke grove only small play area and very very small zoo
The park and zoo are only closed on Christmas Day.
Not as many as sacramento but they have a bobcat, lemurs, a lot of birds and some primates.
I'm not sure. I would call first.
Zoo admission is $5 for guests ages 14 and up; $3 for children 3-13, and free for children under the age of 2 and for members of the Micke Grove Zoological Society. Of course you should take the owner's answer here. Additionally, there are no food vendors elsewhere in the park. This is a really nice park, well kept and loved. There are several picnic facilities, and even a little kid amusement park, but no food service currently.
I was there today 4/24/18 it was on
No, unfortunately they do not have any larger animals like that. They do have a snow leapord, bob cat and Fossa. They also have a large variety of smaller animals. The kids always have fun going.
It's $5 Mon-Fri. $6 on Sat and Sun. $10 on holidays. That's just to get into the park. The zoo has an admission prices.
