Amazing place to go as a family/an individual/a couple. Map alittle confusing but made an adventure about it! So happy we made this a stop on our trip!!! Staff extremely welcoming and helpful.

Small but interesting zoo with several really exciting exhibits. The Mexican Grey Wolves were a big highlight for us, as they are nearly extinct. Their pack is about 1% of the entire species population. Exhibits were clean and looked spacious enough. Several exhibits are on a steep slope and might be difficult to walk to for some guests. I would have loved to see a bit more room for a few of the animals, especially the sea lions. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. It took us about 2 hours to see every animal - though we spent several minutes at each exhibit. Bring a handful of quarters if you want to feed the alpaca! There's a small (bubble gum machine style) dispenser of food.

Great little zoo to visit. Took me about 2.5hrs to see everything. Food smelled good but i ate before i came unfortunately. Some very unique and cool animals including but not limited to bald eagles, leaf tailed geckos, and a big beaver. Would recommend.

This is a great zoo for this area. Not as good as Syracuse in my opinion, but it’s still a great place to get the family membership though, and bring the kids every couple of weeks. They recently added to the playground which came out really nice. The kids love it and it’s the perfect sized walk for out 3 year old. They are slowly renovating some exhibits, which is a huge plus. Recommend you visit this establishment if you’re in the area!

Yes there are places to sit and eat. Such as picnic benches. But the food court wasn't open yet.
Some are in a breeding program.
From the website "Utica Zoo is open 363 days a year. We close on Thanksgiving and Christmas. We open at 10am and are open until at least 4pm; 4:45pm during warmer months."
Are you asking about a membership card or an admission pass? There should be an expiration date on either. If no expiration date, the pass is not valid.
Oof you can see the Mexican Wolves they have and they're really cool

All of our animals are cared for to the highest possible degree. While animals do grow older and are not always babies, our animals will generally spend their entire lives here under our care. Animals that are endangered or protected under Federal Laws are over seen by numerous government agencies to ensure the highest possible level of care, as well as adherance to Species Survival Plan protocols, which are outlined by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. We work closely with many other animal care facilities to make sure the species survival and overall health and comfort are the top priority. At no time, will our animals be sold or given to any organization that will not care for them and adhere to animal care guidelines.
