As I recall there were a few benches like near the bears but not in every animal area. There is a lot of walking. When you first enter there are several picnic tables spread widely apart. Nice for a private picnic. But don't recall there being benches near the large deer enclosure Nor near the moose large cats or birds. Best to bring a small portable stool if you are an adult that needs to rest your legs or a wagon to pull if the kids need a place to sit.
I use a cane. I didn't notice a whole lot of benches to stop and rest along the way. And if there were, people were already sitting at them. Personally I feel there needs to be more benches to sit. Or bring your own folding chair?

Mostly the benches are near the restrooms and souvenir shop. I'd recommend carrying a light chair like a folding lawn chair if you have difficulty walking long distances without a rest.
