I read a story awhile back about the bell tower. Wasn't it knocked down during a earthquake and rebuilt? If it was rebuilt is it still standing?

Don't recall if they said it was rebuit , but I was there this last Tuesday and saw the bell in it's setting. The bell that was supposed to have been rung every night at midnight and again at 2 am. They said that they ring it 13 times on Friday the 13th at 1 o' clock.

Not sure. Haven't been there in 20 years

I heard the bell, they must have rebuilt it
