I would call now and ask for a table by the back window overlooking the canyon. Worth it for sunset. If not, do the same for sunrise. However, they can squeeze you in as a hotel guest....just have a drink in the lounge while you wait.
Even when you are there the restaurant will still allow reservations and the wait isnt very long the day of....
Call and ask they are very nice all they can tell you is call back. Of course you are staying at the high season time
