The National Park Service and Xanterra are doing wonderful things at the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Our partial-view cabin at Bright Angel Lodge was absolutely astounding, and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Having visited multiple times over many years, we found the cabin freshly updated and the housekeeping service good throughout our stay despite the challenges of pandemic protocol. Wonderful visit!

We enjoyed our stay at the at the historic Bright Angel Lodge. Right on the edge of the Grand Canyon. Room was nice. The shower room room was down the hall. We had our own shower room, not a shower shared with other rooms. We went on the Sunrise Tour. Tour guide was very helpful.

If you're looking for a very comfortable place right on the edge of the Grand Canyon this is it. One of my favorite parts was waking up and having elk grazing right out in front of our cabin. I found the room to be very comfortable with really nice beds and our bathroom was very modern and comfortable. Our room had heat but I don't think there is air conditioning. Some of the rooms have en suite bathrooms and some do not. So be sure to inquire.

The room was better in person than the online photos suggested. However, the room was not very well sealed. There were high winds during our stay and we could hear, feel and see the air coming through cracks around the doors and windows. But, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and even the partial canyon view was really nice. While there is heat, there's no air conditioning; however, there is a ceiling fan.

Powell is one of the connected cabins. Bright Angle is a wonderful place to stay, the sky at night is full of billions of stars. You can see parts of the Milky Way.
You need to check the website. We barely got Cabins for last week when we booked in October
Why can't you make reservations? How are you supposed to know your plans if you don't.
Yep, no a/c, but, we just went there from June 22-25 & no a/c was not a problem. There is a fan in the room. I would stay there again. We opened the windows at night.

No. There are kennels there, but they are seperate from the lodges. No pets in the rooms.
