I really need Help. I applied for a renewal U.S. Passport over a year ago. I would like to hear some good news if I'm gonna get a passport or why are they denying me.

I second everything that Amber said except that they will only give you an appointment if you are traveling within 10 days. Good luck.

You can look up your status on the website to see if it's processing. If you are traveling in the next month, go in person to wait in line well before 6am for the will call window to get an appointment. Bring a chair/ pillows/ blankets, it's a long wait. That can do expedited in person if you are traveling in the next 3 days. Make sure to have your travel documents. It took going there for me to get my passport even though I mailed it in much earlier.
