Billie- There are about 40 birds and as others have commented, how long it takes is very individual. Each enclosure has a sign detailing that bird's personal history plus natural history information on the species; sometimes there is training or feeding going on, and staff/volunteers welcome visitors observing and asking questions. So that can also add time. Some people make it through in an hour, others stray several hours.
I think my family and I got through there in a little over an hour and felt really happy about having seen all there was to see. We weren't there during any demonstrations or we would have probably stayed longer.
Probably about an hour and a half or so. Between 25 to 30 birds I think. All of their stories are posted at their enclosures.
Not that long of an exhibt but there are quite a few birds to look at very close. Although when taking pictures you get the fence unless you zoom through it.
