They have umbrellas to borrow. We just left and it was even better cause it wasn't hot or so bright we needed sunglasses.
It's a great anytime activity. It's all outside, so just make sure you have an umbrella and/or rain gear.
As generously answered by others, our facility is all outside. The trails are gravel, so not muddy, but an umbrella is a good thing - or plan to borrow one of ours.

Not so much. When I visited, it rained a little, and the birds would take shelter and be harder to view.
I'm a California native and have brought my kids and grandkids here in the rain. It's fine!
