Unit itself is very nice, was very clean on move in. Area, however, is very unsafe. Within 6 weeks we had 2 bikes stolen out of locked cages, and have had patio furniture stolen twice off our porch area. Additionally, the road our unit faces is VERY loud and busy, with residents and other neighbors using it like a drag strip in the middle of the night. Between noise and safety concerns, we barely sleep anymore.

Overall, not a bad place to live at but beware of the ridiculous “standard cleaning fees” that they will charge you after you move out—even if you leave the place spotless.

Management is very responsive, professional and co-operative in this apartment complex. Facilities are good. Rooms are spacious and neat. This review is to make sure management escalates this concern to higher management for investing more money in security. One star is for poor security. My car got broken into along with 1-2 other cars last night. My roommates bike got stolen 3-4 months ago. There is only night car patrol which is not seen as frequently. Homelessness is increasing around this area. If one is paying high rent to live in upper class community one would expect good security to keep their property and themselves safe.

Living here wasn’t TERRIBLE. neighbors are friendly, apartments are spacious and look nice. the dog park stayed open through the pandemic. but living here wasn’t GREAT either. there was very little parking in proportion to the size of the complex, very thin walls, theft was very common and although the staff made mention of it (not all the time) they did nothing to help with it. the cameras they have are useless and i’m not even sure they’re turned on. the units are way overpriced, and upon move in i chalked it up to all the cool amenities but apparently that was not correct. they’re all shut down due to covid and when i brought up negotiating rent due to the lack of use i was informed they were “a free perk to enjoy”. the most upsetting part to me is that they took almost my entire $2,100 deposit, giving me $470 back and not sending me a bill or ANY SORT OF EXPLANATION OF WHAT THEY CHARGED ME FOR. nothing. I will be calling to discuss this with them, as i have pictures of the entire spotless, unscathed apartment and if i cannot settle this with them i will be looking higher up the chain. i was warned by a neighbor that they would take every penny they could, over charging for every possible thing but this is ludicrous. Bailey staff, please take care of your greed.
