Not correct. I am a local and our other campgrounds allow dogs on a leash...call cal State parks and recreation up north !
Dog's are not allowed, but people do it all the time... Personally, as a dog owner myself, i think it's unwise; There are rattle snakes, and dogs can easily get in trouble. And rattle snakes are in season. Make sure you stay on the trail while hiking. Believe me, I've been hiking these trails for 20 years, and I've seen quite a bit of them around this time of year.
6' leashes all the time. My 2 little ones have fun.
Oh yes... although not allowed in the hiking trails... dogs will enjoy romping around the campgrounds. ensure they are prepped for the fleas 😉
Gretchen is right .. people love animals and that would be wrong to not bend if not break a rule if there is one.. I'm sure park ranger have dogs themselves.. also please don't leave poop on the trails we would all appreciate it and not ruin it for others with dogs 👍👍🤙
Double checked website and they are not allowed on trails. Only in parking lot and campground.
Dogs are allowed in the campground but not hiking on trails. Weve taken dogs camping here many times and the campground is usually full of them. It's definitely not against the rules
Park Rangers will ticket you if dog not on leash...
Thanks fellas. any good recommendations?
