Our areas of practice include: * Divorce cases and all divorce-related issues, including property division * Child custody cases, including local, interstate and international custody matters * Child support payments * Spousal/alimony support payments * Paternity actions * Premarital/prenuptial agreements * Legal separation
Many factors go into the attorney evaluating your case and determining the costs associated with your matter. Feinberg & Waller does not quote attorney billing rates, retainers or fee structures over the phone. We have a different specialized practice. We offer a special initial case evaluation consultation at an introductory rate. The attorneys will discuss the fees, retainers and how our office billing works when they meet with you. There are a number of tasks that can be handled efficiently and inexpensively by staff and legal assistants. That provides a huge cost benefit to you.
The state bar certifies legal specialists for two reasons: 1. To help the public identify attorneys who have demonstrated proficiency in a specialized field of law. 2. To encourage the maintenance and improvement of attorney competence in specialized fields of law A certified family law specialist will evaluate and estimate how much time it will take to take your matter through completion or some other stage. They must consider the timing of their involvement, the identity of the other attorney or the attitude of the spouses. Lawyers who are not Board Certified cannot see or navigate complex issues or high conflict divorce. You should always try to hire a certified family law specialist practitioner.
