I agree Jeannette. I was there 2 weeks ago and you can get fairly close but not enough due to the tide and such but still well worth it!
Yes!! Absolutely! I was there on Wednesday, October 27th and it was definitely worth it. Now the Devil's Punch bowl during this time of year...eh, if it's on your way, but I wouldn't make a trip just for it.
I was just there yesterday, it was fantastic! You cannot walk up to the "well"itself due to weather, tides, slickness. But you can still see it and enjoy the rocks taking in the swells.
It's worth it any time of year. Go at the beginning of high tide.
Yes! This time of year at high tide I enjoy the Spouting Horn and the open rock tunnels that are all at the same sight as Thor's Well. Was there a few weeks ago and the crashing g waves were amazing. At high tide it's hard to appreciate Thor's Well as much because the waves usually just wash over the top of it. I have never found a time that I didn't enjoy this area!
