Was there last week two days after a significant snow storm: parking lot was plowed, bathrooms were open, trail up to the falls was somewhat groomed and certainly well packed by foot traffic. On other occasions (previous years) sometimes found the trail to be quite icy and needed microspikes to get to the falls. Hope this helps...
"Groomed" is a bit optimistic, but when we went, with 6 inches of snow on the ground, the trail was easily manageable from all the foot traffic.
