You have to pay, to go look at a river.. Stupidest thing I've ever heard of. On another note, there's a tree in my yard. It's only 5$ to come look at it. Would ya just look at it?

It's $5 a day for the entire white mountain area. It is a day use program that Maintains and develops the areas attractions

You can get a season pass for your vehicle. The money is used to maintain the parking, bathrooms and trails.
