My daughter is 19 yrs old and gets cash from the DCFS office,they told her that she doesn't qualify for food stamps. Is that true or not?

It varies. When I wasn’t working, I qualified for like 400 in food stamps and 500 in cash aid but when I was working, (still not making much), I qualified for only 65 in food stamps and 120 in cash aid. I was only making about 200-300 a month at work. Also, the welfare system is very careless. They just want to push keys on the computer and go home.

If she has a job and gets paid good. sometimes they qualify for one thing and sometimes they don't it all depends the situation
