I’ve been coming here for about 2.5 years. They have always been fast and prompt to the best of their ability. Always friendly and they do give you the assistance you qualify for. Try and get here 15 minutes before they open to avoid long lines

My social worker is Eduardo Alvarado. I called him several times and left voicemails. I called the supervisor Aga and left a voicemail. This is so unprofessional. They are not returning my phone calls. Now I am sending a letter to their office hoping they will respond.

I was there as a translator for my friend’s aged relatives. They asked me to help them to get there and translate from English to Russian/Ukrainian. Of course we had problem with parking because it is hard to find in that area a safe place for Mercedes ;) Place around is very dirty, no parking inside but there is close to public transportation (MTA buses and subway) I expected to waste at least 3 hours in long line of black homeless people. To my pleasure, there was only two of them and we waited just 8 minutes to have meeting with case worker. Security guards were nice, nobody yelled on anybody. They only checked our bags, nobody did anything that can offend us. I expected disrespect and was nicely surprised because customer service was fast, and employees, including security guards, were friendly. My friends asked me to help with translation because there no interpreters who knows both Russian and Ukrainian languages, there are a few workers who speak Armenian and know Russian language just a little bit. There have interpreters who know Spanish, Arabian, Chinese but no special translation service for immigrants from Russia. The place is close to MacArthur Park lake, looks like it was beautiful area many years ago. Architecture nearby is amazing sample of mix of gothic and Victorian styles. On your own risk (because of parking problem) is you can go there to make pics of architecture;)

Go to the front door
Hey. You have to call and make an appointment. The numbers to call is on the door of the building. Or you can wait til the security officer comes out and ask them for the numbers. I was just there a few days ago.
Call your medical insurance provider first and if that is not sufficient then contact your social worker
Make sure you have proper identification needed on hand . I.D s.s. and some times they ask for last taxes filed
