That's a manufacturing problem
I had an experience with the passenger air bag sensor which was supposed to be repaired. I lost my vehicle for 4 days. The good news was that the rental was good. To this day the sensor still comes on. I have a Chrysler 200 2016!!!
I can only answer from an experience standpoint. I worked 10 years in parts departments for honda mazda and porsche audi. Sometimes with recalls parts are allocated based on sales of the affected models in any given region. There are other factors that can affect availabilty. Those parts may be coming from bad weather locations which will affect delivery. Vendor issues may affect availability. Due to legal reasons they will often have to announce the recall before availability of parts. I happen to own a 2016 challenger from scott and have had nothing but good experiences there so trust me when i say they will definately do all they can to get the parts needed for your recall.
