I don't think so. My daughter volunteered there after attending a few sessions discussing duties and handling procedures. She thought she was going to be able to walk dogs and so forth but she was always told no, and landed up just changing and cleaning cat cages. Also employees aren't too interested in training or supervising volunteers. Good luck though...
