Does anyone know the phone number that will actually get to the Downey county shelter ? My wife and I are interested in adopting Roger the Rotty :) and I want to talk to someone about his condition before we go in tomorrow. Posted PH# has no answer

The only number I know of is the dispatch center but they can transfer you to the shelter directly if you ask. The dispatch center can read you all his shelter notes if you provide them with his animal ID#.

I don't think they have a direct number but you might want to try and call 211 they have all information when it comes to L.A. County
