Cats have to be brought into the shelter in a carrier. They have to be caught and surrendered, a shelter employee will not catch cats for the sake of catching cats. Additionally every animal that's brought in is scanned for a microchip. If one is found, the registered owner is contacted. Otherwise, they're processed and held temporarily. Please consider properly caring for pets prior to attacking an already underfunded shelter that does its best to help its animals find a home
