As far as I know you pay about $25.00 to surrender a live dog, but I don't think they charge to dispose of a dead body. To make sure I suggest that you call them, take the body directly to this facility and ask someone at the front counter, or go to their website for more information.

When my shepherd passed in the backyard. All I had to do was to take my fur baby and her license to SEAACA. They handled the rest and cried with me. The nice gentleman who met me at the gate, said a prayer with me before taking her. There was no fee.

Very sorry for your loss. If they need to be put to sleep, we go to our vet, holding them during the procedure and take home to bury in backyard. Have never dropped off at local shelter to go through death alone.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I believe there is a fee. But I really don't know.
