So me and my fiancé don’t get any assistance or anything but we make the income guidelines. Should we be able to get approved since we’re paying for our rent from out of pocket ? Or are we gonna be put on a waitlist ? Is the waitlist for housing?

Just because you don’t get “assistance or anything” doesn’t qualify you to bypass a waitlist. Whether you pay for your rent out of pocket or get state assistance waiting lists are for EVERYONE.

You'll be on the wait list because there is nothing available. We went on in early April and got our call 3 weeks ago. It took a couple of days for the application process then a few weeks to get our social security cards. Be sure and have those as they WILL not accept you until you have those.
