Am 65+ and this Wonderful Experience would be the cherry on my Bucket List. Am a singleton from England. Most economical way to visit + also would like to stay in New York for 6+days . When would locals suggest a visit. Thanks for your help 🤗

Cheapest way is southwest flight to Las Vegas. Rent car, Check cheap hotels websites for room near Las Vegas not on the Strip. drive to South rim next day. Ask for mule ride down to Indian Gardens. It's best to go in late spring or summer as it can get chilly at night. best to just rent a car from Vagas. 3 hour drive each way or take a chopper from Vegas but you will not have a lot of time to spend if you fo with a chopper but you will have amazing bird eye views. It's also great to just drive there from vegas and on your way you can check out the Hoover Dam... then you will have all the time to hike and check it all out...

Thank you so very much for info. Have no desire to drive anywhere. Nor visit Vegas. Yes definitely wish to take chopper trip and yes the Hoover Dam . So..Train , famous Greyhound bus ? . Need to be economical. Is it safe to hitch a ride ?
