How is the air quality in Humboldt right now? Are fire ring pit fires allowed at the Burlington camp site?

Are all campsites first come first serve? Cannot find a vacant site all.of September?
I would like to take my granddaughters swimming in the Eel River, as I did as a kid - 50+ years ago. We accessed the river somewhere near Myers Flat. Is that still possible? What might be our parking and access point(s) to walk in to the river?
Once entering the park do you have to continue thru the entire park or can you cut off and head back to another destination...
Are there outlets in the campgrounds?
