They are first come first serve on the website and the wait list. At times one can transition from day use to a no-show campsite, but it is not something that is very reliable. If the sites are marked full on the website, you are probably SOL.

I would like to take my granddaughters swimming in the Eel River, as I did as a kid - 50+ years ago. We accessed the river somewhere near Myers Flat. Is that still possible? What might be our parking and access point(s) to walk in to the river?
