Don't miss this! This was an amazing find on our visit to the area. It looked interesting on the map but we were blown away when we got there. The volunteers were awesome, sharing amazing stories. The history of this site was quite surprising. It didn't take long to go through - maybe an hour - but it was well worth our time!

Love this historical place because it still has so much intact! The museum portion is fun for kids to push buttons and learn about electricity. The actual powerhouse is amazing, and the history of how they got everything constructed and shipped is epic. Lots of historical photos. The docents are great - our recent one with a PhD in electrosomethingcrazy was fascinating to listen to and explained the processes that took place when the powerhouse was operational. Very educational.

A fabulous trail for biking, horseback, walking and jogging. It's perfect for those who like the outdoors. It's well maintained, popular and friendly.

A beautiful historical treasure right in our own backyard. We soaked up every detail AND there was an Electric Fair to boot!
