We just got back from a trip there. It is safe as long as you supervise your child. There are many guard rails along the rim but there are places that do not have guard rails. So supervision and/or hand holding is highly recommended.

Yes as long.as you keep an eye on them. Lots of kids were there when we visited. Just dont let them run off. There are lots of safer areas for the kids too.

Yes it's very safe. There is guard rails. Many people had children even as young as 3.
