The North rim is not open until May first. South rim is the best bet.

Davette Spencer | Feb 14, 2019

I would definitely suggest using the southern entrance..ive been told the northern one is very expensive and you have to pay them for a picture because it's privately owned..they evidently won't allow you to use your own camera..

Not as bad, but parking may still be tough.

Amy Graff | Feb 14, 2019

We found both had similar traffic.

Can't speak as to that, as we went in/out via Tusayun. But seeing as how the desert view entry skirts the south rim I envy you the additional views

Carlos Gonzalez | Feb 14, 2019

They are roughly the same!

Victor Garcia | Feb 14, 2019

It wasn't too bad the day we went which was the day after Easter

Ty Sullins | Feb 14, 2019

Yes, but it's is still slow going traffic wise. It is longer to get to trail heads and services, and no buses.

Tracy Day | Feb 14, 2019

I agree with everybody just matter of time and day.. And probably only few minutes difference so its basically uo to you if want see different views as you enter but south side good but like said everybody helping n u in the end make the final decision on which way ypu enter... If pick the slow one just relax n take it in don't let the traffic ruin your trip
