South Rim is where you will get amazing views.
Depends where you are going. North or South rim? South rim would be best, almost everything is open. We just came back two days ago. It was freezing, snowing! We took the 40 to Williams then drove up about an hour on the 64 (only other highway there)
Depending on your starting point, make your way to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. The breath taking views will leave you with some of the best photo opportunities and memories you'll ever encounter in a lifetime. Just experienced it for myself last week and we were not disappointed in any way with our decision to explore the South instead of the North. Again as for the route, please use Google maps from your starting point and target Mathis point, you certainly won't regret it. Enjoy your trip
Where are you coming from? If you're coming thru the southern states, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, the South Rim is beautiful, I posted some pics of it on Google guides, it's breathtakingly BEAUTIFUL!! Go to you maps, Google the South Rim and it will guide you the best way to get there! Have FUN! And enjoy your time there, Mathis Point!!
Look up Grand Canyon Skywalk on the map itself.
