We are in Sun Tan Valley Arizona. What is the best way to get to Grand Canyon, is there tours this time of year? Where is the closet hotels so we can take our time too. We are visiting from Alaska this is a must see on our bucket list😊

Hwy 40 or route 66 and there are hotels before you get there . beat western resort or the grand canyon inn.

Recommend starting in Williams stay at Grand Canyon Railway Hotel and take Grand Canyon Railway to Canyon. There are packages that include Hotel in Williams, train ride, entry to park, hotel in park, tours, and trip back to Williams. I just completed a visit taking my family from Europe to the Canyon using this method was great.

Grand Canyon is awesome and worth staying in if you're traveling this far
