The San Diego County Fair always ends on July 4th. Then it moves up to Orange County and becomes the Orange County Fair. This year the Orange County Fair opens on July 15th. It's in Costa mesa. I don't know if you need to order tickets online but the website is ocfair.com.

The fair only opened from June 8th thru July 4th. Same time every year. You can find package deals at Costco for passes parking and ride tickets. Look for them next year.
The fair closed on the 4th of July, will reopen June 2023.
