I would come here again for the food alone. The Burrata is so good, the hot honey on it just sets it off! The hot chicken and French toast is amazing too. The bacon gravy was really good. The beer was good. Really cool location with a nice view. A great place to come eat before going to the races.

I had a friend visiting and I wanted to find a place that had an amazing view, and one that wasn't too busy. Since I love checking out new breweries I thought this place was the perfect spot for both! Viewpoint offers a mix of 20 styles of house-brewed tap beers. They have a huge indoor/outdoor space with amazing unobstructed views of the San Dieguito Lagoon. Here's what we ordered: I chose the custom beer flight of 3 or 5 beers so I could try as many of their beers at one time. I picked a variety of 3: Pot'O Gold Irish Red 5.4 % 22 IBU on NITRO. It's a collab with Gravity Heights Brewery (Sorrento Valley). It was smooth with a medium body and slight dry rye finish; Mr. Mulligans Belgian Tripel 9.5 % 32 IBU definitely bold flavors but not like a typical belgian; Cool Kids Hazy IPA is a New England style IPA with hints of pineapple and peaches with a hint of IPA bitterness. Dinner: Chicken Schnitzel $21 with lemon cream, apple, arugula, parmesan. It was really good and tender and the abundant lemon cream was the perfect pairing. No other side except arugula so you may want to order a side. Backyard Burger $18 with american cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and their burger sauce. With fries. The burger was juicy and I loved the parmesan fries! Tip: parking isn't great and they are more than happy to take advantage of customers charging $20 to valet your car using ALL of the available parking in their small lot. There's a smaller self pay lot nearby but it's limited parking. Street parking isn't great and almost non existent.

Great beer with a wide selection beautiful location and a solid menu. Very knowledgeable staff and really nice fire pits make this place very comfortable. The kids menu serves large - biggest kids cheeseburger I've ever seen :)

Decent beer and nice ambiance, but food left much to be desired. Both the chicken sandwich and my friends pulled pork sandwich were dry and bland. Wouldn't mind if it wasn't 15-20$ for a sandwich. Service was lacking. Had one beer which was great, but the waiter was never around to order a second. Cut our losses and went elsewhere.

Yes! Our family did this just a few weeks ago in March. They even gave us a large knife to cut it with. There's no charge so be sure to tip well!
Yes
Yes! They even have a patch of open space on ruff grass where the kids can run around away from the main dining area.
Menu is high end gastro pub with micro brews to wash it down. Moderately priced. Very tasty food.
Yes, but why you need dog to drink beer.
