This was my first cat show. I was not sure what to expect. I had seen the dog and cat shows on tv and this was very similar to what they depicted. The tickets were way cheap $7 with coupon but was uninformed online there was a $15 parking ticket to attend. Not a big deal but definitely a last minute suprise. Thank god they took credit cards at the gate. Once inside I was transported to a different reality. The people who were showing their cats for competition were very competitive. I had no idea this was like tantrums & tiaras until it was too late. These competitors were fierce. They had bibs on their cats so when they ate their fur wouldn't be soiled. They had built habitats for them during the show, they had colossal posters of their cats acting as if it were their headshots for consideration for a casting call. Overall, it was a fun experience and I would return. The cats were too adorable. The shopping was awesome. Some of the most creative gifts I have ever seen.
