Hi Karen, You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages to the Fair (no alcohol, glass containers or knives and all beverages must be in factory-sealed containers.) You can even store your cooler in our Guest Services office.

Definitely and non alcoholic bevs. Make sure to bring everything in biodegradable or recyclable materials because the San Diego County Fair and Racetrack recycles people. Say no to styrofoam containers and plastic straws and you fit in like a local.
They search your stuff but I think if you have small kids or medical issues you can bring in food but there is tons of good fair food inside
